I have never seen the positions of Jerry Falwall as mine, but I recognize that we share some of the same ideas, and if I forget that fact, John will remind me of it! That's the point, precisely. I can't think, offhand, of any positions you share with Falwell (well your support for Bush but I forgive you for that) and I can readily think of many you don't share. I'll be happy to defend my positions and I'll be happy to discuss the positions of specific folk to the left or right of GWB. But the caricatures don't help. And, having typed that line, I should add that I intend to offer you the opportunity to pop me one when I, inevitably, drop a caricature into a sentence.
