People will simply believe what they want to believe too, Grace. There are plenty of examples, measured in multiple year time-frames (sometimes decades) where trading was more advantageous to ltbh, and the inverse.

On another note, I've noticed a lot of folks jumping out of the woodwork (lately no less) claiming they were ltbh's until March 2000, where they sold their holdings, just at the right time of course. Some were claiming it was due to excessive valuation at the time, and now they're back in at even higher valuations on some selected issues (like the market in general is today). You know, the "traders will always fail, buy the stock-story" type.

Their frustration, is their choice of poison, not mine.
