some folks round here have been holding longer than that and HOW is it different?? -- if you hold a value stock -- low PE stock, P/B, P/S -- you are "speculating" that the future holds earnings growth -- how is that different from holding gold shares -- you've got some kind of emotional block.

If gold goes down, I'll sell it -- many shares are cheap now based on the price where it is.

you won't be the scapegoat either way...I am always looking for some type of motivator to really get my wheels rolling.....Your apparent hostility toward the metals, just got my contrary indicators going...If there was a cigar somewhere in the mix come June 30th, that would be sufficient payment one way or another...You probably don't smoke cigars, so maybe I can buy you a Dutch beer, or a picture of the dikes....

You are absolutely right, this is out of character for me....But then again, I have found something I believe in, longer term...GO DALE......Keep me posted on your picks...I know you are an excellent long-term stock picker, and appreciate your input here...
