"when the first Bush went to Iraq. What happened to all that oil -"

Nothing, it's still there and is ever more enticing.... Iraqi reserves, I believe, are over 100B barrels....that's a lot of oil, son....

Both Bush Sr. and Clinton wanted to take him with the Kurds....result...failure... Current whispers are that our friends the Saudis tipped Saddam off...

Russia doesn't want their oil fields....they have all they need for a long time but they would like to process Iraqi oil and sell them expertise and equipment for which they have recently signed a 30B contract... I'm guessing that for their cooperation, we have guaranteed an even sweeter deal....

The Chinese are not even mentioned, where did you hear something???

Yes, we will try and recover more from old wells as we have be doing for decades.....you recognize by now, I hope, that it won't help very much but will make a few more millionaires....
