<A more interesting discussion would be when? From what level? How high a "meltup"? And why you believe your answers to the above>

I do not have an answer for when and from what level and how high. I don't pretend to be able to make those kind of calls. I am a short term trader with a holding period of 1 to 7 days usually. For me, I feel it is alot easier to call the short term moves off chart patterns than to make the longer term "bottom" calls. How the hell does anyone really know where or when "the bottom" will occur although many will try. But if I believe that a longer term bottom is in place I will go back to more of a buy and hold strategy.

Sorry I couldn't help you.
