Yeah, and it has one of the highest labor costs in the Industry, and is owned by it's Unions. The only way out from the start was Bankruptcy, to get rid of the present labor costs and start with new non Union management. That's Capitalism!

well if they are that big financially, they should not need a bailout. I find this concept of government bailout in a capitalistic economy fairly contradictory. BWTFDIK ?

The high cost carriers have to get with the program, or make way for the efficient ones.

All major airlines have already been "bailed out" once, which accomplished nothing but continuing inefficient cost structures.
