Anyone who thinks Bush wants to attack Iraq for the oil is demonstrating incredible short sighted stupidity and projecting their own greed... if this were about oil, then why would we pick Iraq, the most difficult country to attack? We could simple roll into Kuwait and declare a victory as soon as we arrive, we already have air bases there and we could just take the oil, they have no defenses, and not a single other country would do anything to stop us... we could also take Saudi Arabia, they can't fight us either, we built their oil fields and gave them the technology, we could say it's really our oil and we want it back, too bad for them... they didn't find it, we found it for them, and we told them what it was... so it's hardly about oil... yet, it's true that once the Iraqi people are liberated from that tyrant, that country will prosper, and their people will also prosper, with the amount of oil Iraq sells, that country should be among the richest in the world and its people should not be living in the stone age as they continue to do today... the only one who prospers now is Sadam Insane...
