Scott, on this article about war protests, did you see the full page ad from the National Councils of Churches in the New York Times this week? I meant to post it if I could find it online. Any idea how to find it?

Even more important than peace is demand for immediate and full disclosure.
Without transparency in government there will be no peace, now or later.

We need to be fully prepared for self-defense, which the propagandists use as a club against anyone critical of the administration, raising the fear level, and reporting on new terrorist incidents, which have escalated since the Bush adminstration took office.

Better to simply go after the truth, demand answers to unanswered questions and full disclosure of the public's right to know about government individuals and actions. Otherwise there will be constant fear-mongering by the administration and "incidents", which will swamp any effort to get to the truth.
