<<Time to buy for a trade if we get a big down day with some volume>>

I don't think you'll see that, instead, you're going to get ratchet down moves on low volume. The bottom and reversal on this name won't be accompanied by big volume but by very low volume and then slowly rising volume, imho. Generals are always fighting the last war, punters are always trading the last pattern (in this case, plunging falls and stomach churning volatility). There's going to be a whole lot of time to play the next "war" in EP; at least that's what the chart says. Those who jumped in on the bargain purchase price for EP of $7.25 or so now find themselves owning a ratchet down stock trading between 6.60 and 6.85. Maybe some end of week short covering will close it at 6.90? But it's more likely (sez I) that it's going to continue it's pattern for the next several trading days and that $7.25 purchase price will read $5.47.

Odds that it will continue down? Very good.

Odds that it will reverse course and zoom back up? Very poor.

For everything else, there's Mastercard.

Stay cool, my gut tells me if there's a time to buy EP the confirmation will read "----, 2003".
