"we have no state to declare war on. " Really?? What the hell did we do in Afghanistan? What are we planning to do in Iraq? Tell me these are not being done in the name of terrorism.... re: " we must change our approach to one of denial of opportunity to possess weapons of mass destruction," In other words, we the USA , must dominate and control the planet earth and deny sovereign nations their right to self determination and self preservation. We will decide who can or cannot possess any weapons and therefore, in the process, control their destiny. Trying to do that on the national level right here in the good ole USA brings out the wrath of a group called the NRA. But nonetheless, we will do that in the guise of denying them weapons which, although they be for self defense, we can claim are to be used against us offensively. What, pray tell, is the difference between this policy and the policy we observed for the last 50 years except for the fact that we were finally attacked here at home.
