<< There are more trials against al Qaeda members in Germany than in the USA. >>

I stand corrected, about Germany, not the rest of Europe, however.

"Germany makes second 9/11 arrest"

===> "Mzoudi was a student at Hamburg's Technical University, where Atta, Bahaji and Motassadeq studied.

He is alleged to have helped Atta and the other hijackers with logistics leading up to the attacks and is set to go on trial in Hamburg on October 22." <===

I might have overreacted, but I get annoyed at the disingenuous comments by some of the posters on SI, who post that Israel murders Palestinians on a daily basis, as if the victims are all innocent sunday school students. No mention of the terrorists, who Israel is hunting down, and no mention of "deaths by battle".

So, their comments, painting Israel as the bad guy, and my comment, implying that Germany is a country that will not stand up to terrorism, were both wrong.

Wrong facts don't get better by repeating them. Currently I ignore most of the Europe bashing but every now and then it's enough.

May I urge you to intervene more often, Jochen. Thanks.
