Dan,

Are you suggesting, I have the following open positions : short ES, short ES puts and long OEX calls? Since ES options are on Globex, I am beginning to like ES options, as there is no MM involved compared to OEX.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, in IB the value of ES options is shown at 50 times, as compared to 100 times in equity/index options. Suppose I short ES870 put at $8/-, the value is shown as -400$, not -800$. That is the reason for 1:2 ration. (may be because ES is 50 times the price...) It was something new to me...

Another idea I have is, say if ES runs to 950, is there a need to close my DEC870 puts? Let them expire worthless, as only two weeks are left, not decided yet??

Thanks again for your opinion...
