When they invade someone else's territory in the middle of the night with helicopters, bulldozers, tanks and are armed with assault rifles and the like, to kill innocent women and babies along with *suspected* terrorists, who are actually asleep and unarmed, then IMO, YES.

Israel should be blamed for waging war back against groups which are actively involved in war against it?

It's standard fare to be outraged that the IDF kills 10 civilians when returning fire at militants shooting from their midst. But when a Palestinian terrorist blows up a few dozen Israeli civilians, its "how tragic, oh well."
