Conceal and carry: Shoot a scumbag, put a LAWYER out of work, save your prison system money. And it makes the decision process on committing a violent crime FAR more democratic... There's NO DOWN SIDE! Not only should the USA have UNIVERSAL conceal and carry laws, we should dis-assemble the ENTIRE Welfare State and use the money for the arming and training of law-abiding citizens. This would be 10 TIMES more effective in solving "social problems"...

"Violent crime is SIGNIFICANTLY lower in communities with conceal and carry laws'" It's very humorous that gun huggers are claiming credit for the reduced crime rates that have taken place beginning in 1990..... They have hired researchers like Gary Kleck (sp) and a more recent mercenary (name forgotten) to massage the data to illustrate their convictions. They neglect to mention that crime is down all over the country including states and cities without conceal laws.....NYC(very strict gun laws) being the most notable example whose crime rate continues to fall....
