Hi jims,

Regarding "... assuming they don't do something stupid like buying something that is non accretive to earnings...."

Actually, that is exactly what I hope GG does. Buying a couple of good, undeveloped properties that they can develop with their cash flow makes a lot of sense to me. Glamis looks like they are going to have a smashing success with the Fransisco Gold purchase; I'd like to see GG do this (with Minefinders?). Or, maybe they could take a good size interest in a couple of outfits like Cardero or Cumberland, which have promise for the future, and go for all of it if and when the time is right.

What I don't like is seeing GG accumulate a bunch of bullion and letting it sit in some vault somewhere, which is exactly what they are doing. I want a gold mining company. If I want bullion, I'll buy it myself.

My two cent rant on a Sunday morning ... <ggg>

Best Regards ol' SSRI mate,

crusty

Jims. Good time to be well positioned, patient

and have just enough cash in reserve to take advantage of surprise dips in fav stocks.

Basically, <We are in the pipe, 5 by 5> :$))
