OT How the Iraquis got the nasty stuff. Here is my take and I am good to assembiling puzzles with missing pieces.

The US gave the Iraquis some nasty stuff during the Iran-Iraq War. Then -to refrsh some meories- the US loved Iraq and hated the Iranians. The Iraquis even hit with "friendly fire" the frigate Stark killing a few American sailors.

This was during Reagan years, Iran-Conntra Afffair, you know all this dirty things the guys play.

The Iraquis may have tested the nasty stuff on the Iranians, put some video cameras to watch the damage and made post morten analysis of the corpses and discovered the nasty stuff is really good and works.

But they didn't used all or, since there wasn't much of the stuff, they reverse engineered it or tried. They at the same time were trying to get some rockets to propell the nasty stuff and wipe out, quess whom? Did anypone say Israel?

What we have now is that anytime the US has a Republican administration they go prod Iraq to get the nasty stuff back since it can be traced to guess whom? Yes, the same guys who supplied the friends of Osama bin Laden with Stinger heat seeking missiles, of which there are still some left overs.

Don't worry about the CNN reorters this is the real deal.

There will be more!!

Varig "The most delicate situation is that of VASP, a company described by the report as "technically bankrupt," while Varig, the country's largest airline, also has serious financial problems"

Reports from Brazil say that the entire board of the country's biggest airline, Varig, have resigned in a row over its debts.

The loss-making carrier has been trying to renegotiate a USD$900 million debt and return to profit, but Varig's owner, the Rubem Berta foundation, has thrown out the deal with the country's development bank and other creditors.

The foundation, which is non-profit making, is the majority shareholder in Varig.

Varig chairman Amin Lore was brought in to oversee the restructuring in August. Now, after only three months in the post he will go with the rest of the board, leaving the airline in uncertain territory.

In the first six months of this year Varig posted a BRR1.4 billion (USD$292.6 million) loss.

Wet lease anyone? No airtravel doesn't like wet lease. Govt sanctioned cartel IATA? Yes, airtravel loves it!

Shares of Boeing anyone? No. How about Airbus? You've gotta be joking, right?

By the way Boeing is going to need the Boeing Bank a.k.a Import-Export (EXIM) bank more than ever!!!
