So not only do the moderates need to risk standing up against the terrorists, they sadly also need to risk being widely ignored by the media for doing so. This is where I believe inter-faith activities can be beneficial (on both sides)... A friend of mine was involved in such a program and found it quite interesting... And although behind the scenes, it is these types of programs that have a greater impact over the long term towards building understanding. And it shows that, despite the militancy, the American system can provide a home for numerous faiths. After all, even though a christian myself, I don't subscribe to the attempts by Falwell and Robertson to make the US a "christian nation"... I firmly believe in rendering to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to god what is god's... Hawk
