OT~Many people over the years have talked for years about the so called "need" to "separate church and state."

If that is to remain a goal, then it would make absolutely no sense at all for the church, any church for that matter, to be a "voter education place"........

Unless, of course, that church wanted to give up their tax exemption and to pay taxes like all other groups and individuals.

Note: I'm sure that this is Off Topic, unless we consider what churches and other religious groups are funding, and who they are funding. If it is found that any group is actively funding terrorists to harm the US, then I would think that this subject is very much On Topic.

But as voter education places, it strikes me they don't and probably, under current law, shouldn't lose their tax exempt status.
