<< It's often easier to assert their own "right to exist" by denying this to others, especially when they view the "other" as a western enclave not culturally like them. >>

I can accept this, but I would have preferred it if Muslims would have chosen "brotherly love" over "hate thy neighbor".

<< Indeed.. this is very true to a large extent. And it is something that muslims will have to compromise on. >>

It really grates me, when an Arab-American leader condemns the anti-Arab feelings in America, and in the next breath quotes lies about Jews and Israel. Your response surprises me. On SI, usually adversaries don't give an inch.

<< I hope that you are suggesting that they died of natural causes and not through some form of racially inspired violence (either real or visualized).. >>

Well....... it was sarcastic humor. I debated about putting a "<g>" after "They're all dead.", but I thought that the "shock value" would be better without it.

<< I don't have much tolerance for racism on either side of the fence and that is definitely a offense which will get you "terminated with extreme prejudice" from this thread faster than you can say "bullseye".. >>

File that post under "Too much shock value". <g>

You write very interesting, and substantive posts. I enjoyed our conversation.

However, I do write a lot of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim stuff. Sounds like a "bullseye".
