David, you are correct that the figures that I gave are wrong, and I apologize for misleading anybody. I was in the process of verifying them when you posted your reply. In the future I will not repost second hand information without verification..... The Mid-East oil imports by company that I posted the other day were second hand, and I could not verify them. Here are the figures by our Dept. of Energy though. The lowest company that sells around here is Diamond Shamrock at 7%, and that's where I'll get my gas from now on. eia.doe.gov. Here's an interesting page on how much oil we still import from our nemesis Saddam. An average of 525,000 barrels a DAY! Hmmm. eia.doe.gov Del
