That i have no argument, if going into Friday the market was out of imminent danger PPT would not have acted, imo.
I believe they watch charts obsessively .
And yes, a critical TA point, such as that Red Line on SPX would be a place, in view of the impending employment report( which i am sure they see in advance of release) that would swing them into action.
Actually now looking at the red-line on the SPX it was a TA crisis point because a major sell-off would put the SPX back into the near term Bear Channel.
A long black candle on friday would have occurred at a point it would have done devastating damage on the still "bullish" trend.Max
