You only focused on the points that are moot as if that was all I wrote and you don't seem able to perceive some tongue-in-cheek comments. Your arguments are glib and superficial. Actually, things are not that simple in clearcut black or white. You will have to travel widely and see things for yourself. As a 40-year "pup" (you see, an old dog can't be taught new tricks), you still have, God willing, many more miles of living to go and, hopefully, you will be able to see a lot of things in their correct perspective. Right now, it is very easy to be glib and arrogantly dismiss this or that by making unfair or irrelevant comparisons and insisting that capitalism is the way to go. Remember that but for the grace of God, you might well have been born a Moslem! As I have indicated in prior posts, those Moslem folks probably have to play catchup for another 600 years. It seems to me their mind and spirit just cannot be force-propelled into the 21st century in a jiffy. Remember: Not by revolution but by evolution are all things achieved in permanence! Don't forget that the West itself had to undergo many cycles of evolution (traumatic, and shameful and embarrassing at times) over the centuries before it found a semblance of equilibrium. And now suddenly everything seems to some overcocksure guys so very clearcut and easy that they are puzzled why others just cannot simply emulate the West. Their problem is their ignorance of history and human social evolution. Remember one should not compare oranges with persimmons. Unfortunately, whether foreseen or not, the West's mania for profits and world domination have opened a Pandora's box.............................
