Haven't seen the numbers, but I'll bet Orleans Parish turned out big. The NAACP ran an aggressive get out the vote drive there. That, combined with the serendipitous and fortuitous sugar cane issue put her over the top.

No big deal, She votes with President Bush 75% of time anyway. One bad thing though, she is proabortion. Who knows, maybe she is invested in a slaughter house somewhere?

For once, we agree. But perhaps fabrication is getting harder after the Gore obscenities of 2000. That certainly removes the last Democrat edge, even in LA...
