I'm pretty well committed to HP.

Little less than two years ago, I got what was then a top line HP at Costco - at a very competitive price. I had a problem, took it back and swapped for another machine (same model) with zero problems. A feature worth considering.

I run a shutdown manager that calls a scrub routine that erases internet "pollution" every day. Although not used for that purpose, it probably has Poindexter implications.
