i generally don't predict dates and targets, i react, and do lot's of research

news changes things daily, so i consider date and target predictions useless

i have a good idea where things are headed though, and have said so already

anyone that reads my posts, knows what i think

keep predicting zeev

ZEEV, I personally find your forecasts very useful so I appreciate your sharing them. In fact, the actual precise numbers are less important to me than the macro-trend and your perception of market potential/internals at key time points. For example, your forecast that the Naz rally has no more than 1 month and 200 points upside and afterwards Naz will have a multi-month 500-700 point drop is a very nice long-term trading framework to have.

ZEEV, I admit I was critical of your forecasts not so long ago and perhaps even in a few of my posts. However, since then I have learned to interpret various long-term market indicators a lot better so your forecasts now add value to my market understanding in the context of the market indicators I watch as opposed to confusing me. I also realize that no one can precisely predict long-term targets such as Naz 950 or Naz 1900 so these are merely guideposts or lower/upper bounds on the likely multi-month Naz range.

The bottom line IMO: if it adds value, use it, if it doesn't, don't.

Why don't you give us your "best shot" for the next six months?
Zeev

I accept that forecast.
But I have to comment that this is as bearish looking forward as I have seen you. 1600 or so to 950 or so is quite a drop.

Can I ask why the concern?
Balance of trade
Debt
employment
What specifically because 1600 to 950 is a huge %?

Forecast lows for S&P and DOW would be appreciated by everyone here I am sure.

Thanks

M

Hey Zeev,
Can you clear up a question for me? When did you first believe that there was a 950 nas target potential for 2003?
A ball park figure like 1 or 2 or .....12 months is all im looking for in terms of a response.
thanks in advance
