You always ask for more evidence from the sciences but never ask for the tiniest bit from the bible...... "least important to "scientists," otherwise they would not have such strong faith." Scientists only have faith in theories and postulates have proven to be incontrovertible and are now scientific laws.... And even the laws are still being tested and retested...... Where in religion does this go on??? "Darwin basically tried to explain to origin of the relationships pointed out by essentialist taxonomists. He did this without real evidence, arguing his ideas essentially by referring to the artificial selection that farmers used to create new breeds (not species) of sheep and other such domesticated animals." Like several scientists before him, Darwin believed all the life on earth evolved (developed gradually) over millions of years from a few common ancestors.www2.lucidcafe.com From 1831 to 1836 Darwin served as naturalist aboard the H.M.S. Beagle on a British science expedition around the world. In South America Darwin found fossils of extinct animals that were similar to modern species. On the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean he noticed many variations among plants and animals of the same general type as those in South America. The expedition visited places around the world, and Darwin studied plants and animals everywhere he went, collecting specimens for further study. Upon his return to London Darwin conducted thorough research of his notes and specimens. Out of this study grew several related theories: one, evolution did occur; two, evolutionary change was gradual, requiring thousands to millions of years; three, the primary mechanism for evolution was a process called natural selection; and four, the millions of species alive today arose from a single original life form through a branching process called "specialization." Darwin's theory of evolutionary selection holds that variation within species occurs randomly and that the survival or extinction of each organism is determined by that organism's ability to adapt to its environment. He set these theories forth in his book called, "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" (1859) or "The Origin of Species" for short. " I think the jury is still out on the worldwide migration pattern of humans. I have something of an idea about it, but since I was not there at the beginning," The jury is out only among the religionists....to accept the evidence would shake their religious foundation..."y'all not gonna tell me my ancestors was black"....ggg " I therefore have no problem at all with two perfect beings giving birth to genetically perfect sons and daughters, who then marry to produce genetically perfect sons and daughters, and so on... " You're getting quite irrational.... Breeding perfect beings from incest who continue to breed perfect children....whew!! So when did the imperfections come in???? All of this would be evident from DNA of course....ask Tom Jefferson's kin... I will grant you this JP.....you seem to be a very religious type who is at least making an effort to find a grand design is everything, even scientific data.....many of the devout don't even considering anything deeper than bible reading and most just accept some parson's sermons. Enjoyed the discourse....
