OT? There is an absolutely beautiful movie out on Afghani/Iranian relationships (because of all the Afghan refugees in Iran)- it is called Baran. I highly recommend it.

Baran (2001)
Starring: Hossein Abedini, Zahra Bahrami
Director: Majid Majidi
Synopsis: Social melodrama about an Iranian construction worker whose job is impacted by a poorly paid illegal Afghani immigrant. Although at first he responds with prejudice, he undergoes a personal transformation after he discovers her gender. (Miramax)
Runtime: 94 minutes
MPAA Rating: PG - for language and brief violence.
Genres: Drama, Foreign
Country of Origin: Iran
Language: Persian

And for the BEST look at Bosnia ever- see No Man's Land.

No Man's Land (2001)
Starring: Branko Djuric, Rene Bitorajac
Director: Danis Tanovic
Synopsis: Moving, sometimes darkly funny drama about two soldiers — one Bosnian Muslim and one Bosnian Serb — trapped in between enemy lines with another soldier lying on top of a live mine. Unusual anti-war drama insists there is no such thing as neutrality as it skewers the UN and the news media for their roles in the Bosnian conflict. (MGM)
Runtime: 98 minutes
MPAA Rating: R
Genres: Drama, Foreign, Suspense, War
Country of Origin: Bosnia
Language: Serbo-Croatian
(i also thought Beautiful People was also a fantastic movie on this subject)
