allying themselves with the terrorist group which murdered thousands of our citizens
Got proof?

Proof of what? That Al Qaida murdered thousands of our citizens on 9/11/01 as well as other occasions? Well, this is common knowledge for a number of reasons including their public admission and stated intention to commit further outrages. You know this. Proof that the Taliban was allied with AQ perhaps? This is also common knowledge. If you will recall, the Taliban were using AQ personnel to assist in their war with the Northern Alliance. OBL and Mullah Omar were united by their children's marriage. No secret about this. Furthermore, the Taliban were asked to turn over the leadership of AQ and refused. All this is common knowledge - every news media in the world reported these facts at the time.

We do have unfinished business with SA. However, SA is not allowing AQ to operate freely and train personnel in their country - I think. They are allowing wealthy Saudis to provide funds to AQ. And that will have to be stopped. Re. invading SA, I wouldn't rule it out after SH is removed.

How about for refusing to turn over the leadership responsible for the attack on our country
Huh? Are you under the impression that Iraq could "turn over" Al-Qaeda to the US even if they want to? That is hilarious <g>

You referred to our intervention in Afghanistan as being for no real reason in your post...

nvade another sovereign country preemptively and for no real reason, kill thousands of civilians a la Afghan

... and that was the country I was referring to.

Your post as quoted above criticized our intervention in Afghanistan as being "for no real reason". Is that not your opinion? If that is your opinion, then my claim You seem to have a problem with our defending ourselves under any circumstances certainly applies.
