OR,

I think it was you among others that liked to discuss the habit of BLS to quietly revise stats downward on a regular basis. Here's the latest, complete with positive spin from Briefing.com:

>>9:54AM BLS to revise Sep/Oct jobs data : The Bureau of Labor Statistics has confirmed that it will release revised jobs figures for Sep and Oct later today; the talk is that the BLS overstated the Sep change by 80K and understated the Oct change by that same 80K, with no impact on the November data. If that is indeed the case, this should be a non-event.<<

I suppose that in when they revise November's number downward in January, that will also be a "non-event."

Edit: I'm looking forward to seeing what the reality is, rather than the talk.

Finally getting your way with RFMD? Seems to be down in sympathy with QCOM downgrade, rather than up in sympathy with NOK upgrade. Considering that NOK has a more direct bearing on RFMD's fortunes, this is a bit strange, and probably bearish. Disclosure: long time long, currently hedged at $10.

ISIS bouncing.

Cheers, Tuck
