I knew his work slightly in the 60s when he edited a rather bad magazine, Ramparts. I knew he did some work on the Rockefellers but I've never read nor taken him seriously. His work has been and continues to be too much a victim of his ideological blinders. As for what changed him, I genuinely don't know. He may well think he stayed the same, just picked different targets or came to consciousness or whatever. But I don't consider him a reliable source for anything. Ever. In that regard I'm more negative on Horowitz than that earlier post from tek indicated he was.
