It is so nice to see you join the Conservatives in a search for Fiscal Sanity. I expect you would not mind if the Welfare Bureaucrats were running up a deficit to pay for their latest boondoggle. It is letting the Warfare Bureaucrats spend it that gets your goat.

I'm assuming there was a grinnie behind that one.

Looks like after Landreiu we are back to 50-50 split stuff. If the Reps think they have a mandate to go whole hog, it will only help whichever Dem emerges as their candidate in 04. And, given their noted arrogance, the arrogance of the Bushies, and their need to keep their right wing on board, we should see some interesting stuff. A nomination of either Scalia or Thomas to head the Supremes, will shift oodles of votes to the Dems without gaining them a single vote since they already have their right.

Rove runs the domestic policies of this administration. We are about to see just how smart he is.
