Of course, she is mixed race. So is Halley Berry. If Halley Berry can refer to herself as a "black" actress, I can refer to the daughter as black, rather than using a longer locution. And the story did play during the Clinton Administration. I first read it in The New Republic in the mid- '90s. I have no idea who may have picked it up...... Since Clinton was not "in the ringer" for having an affair, I am not certain where the hypocrisy was, by the way. Strom was never notable as a "family values conservative", and, in any case, anyone can lapse, it is how one conducts oneself habitually which is telling.......
