From a US national interest perspective I would rather have a pinochet type regime rather than one that sponsors terrorism against us To that choice, you should say "none of the above". Seriously, I do not think the US public opinion can stand being the cause of continuous military dictatorship, tortures, and deaths a la Chile at this point in time. Especially now that CNN et al bring it to their home every day. look for shades of grey here as well--but not too many Hehe... I will try <g>
