I've wondered about the slavery reparations debate in the U.S. Surely if that's actionable, then the Irish have a case, too. In the last quarter of the 19th century, it wasn't uncommon to have signs posted "no Irish need apply". There was active, sanctioned discrimination. Hmmm.
