Do I think the situation is beyond saving? Not yet. We need to re-assert common sense, and have the nerve to stand up to the special interests -- in this case, the immigration lobby. I don't see that happening soon, and it's sure as heck not on the radar screen of any Liberal leadership hopeful. :o) You're going to have to tweak THAT plan a bit <g>.
