Craig Conway, president and CEO of PeopleSoft, once recommended that Benioff be hired at Oracle. Now Conway says Benioff is wrong and will soon be out of business. Likewise, Tom Siebel, CEO of Siebel Systems and another Oracle alumnus, championed Benioff when he was a young employee. In a recent interview, Siebel belittled Benioff as ``one of the greatest media figures in history.''

I agree with Conway and Oracle that ASPs just won't fly, other than as the "hosting" division of large software companies.

I'd like to see Chambers and Mike Dell in politics one day. Larry, Tom S and Steve Jobs- I think its best they "persue other interests" LOL
