Hmm... this seems like something of a sound byte... Bill Harmond do you know what they are talking about here- is this related on online shopping/ banking etc. or ? Sales at online retailers Amazon.com (AMZN ) and eBay (EBAY ) are rising -- indicating a permanent change in consumer behavior in relation to the Web. this is not consistent with- . McKinley's own surveys of large companies show that corporate IT spending will remain flat -- or even decline by perhaps 2% -- in 2003. I think e-commerce is going to have another ramp as soon as amzn's xmas figures get published. Most brick and mortar storefronts have a ways to go to really ramp, lots of companies aren't even online still.
