So, assuming we get rid of Saddam, establish and maintain stability in the region, and bring oil prices down, everything will be fine and the market may start to rise. That about sum up your "point"?

The next bull is not going to develop till everyone stops looking for one. I think the consensus is that October lows was the bottom, wall street equity allocation is at levels associated with tops. We are a long ways away from the next bull.
