It's pretty clear what your views are, Neocon, and that you are using those to fill in the spaces of Horowitz and Collier's motives. It still, I must confess, seems to me that if they had retained their 60s beliefs but were unsettled about the non-electoral tactics of the 60s crowd, then the McGovernites were the closest thing. You present them as simply more neoconservtives moving rightward. Fine. But Horowitz (don't know about Collier) either grew much more shrill or just kept his shrillness and also just changed ideological blinders. Take care.
