eezie:

I think the thing to do is to watch JDSU as an indicator to the overall market tide. The JDSU boat is sensitive. It bobs up nicely in rising tides. OTOH, it drops like a brick in outgoing tides.

The tide, IMO, seems to be outgoing. Like all tides, it will come back.

Discipline: up 30%, down 10%: go to cash.

eeziee,
As I've apologized to some others who were kind enough to respond and share their views, I will do the same and explain I've been away and offline for a little bit and that's why I haven't thanked you earlier for responding.

I don't sweat the difference between a 2 dollar and a 3 dollar price for J. I'd like to have a bunch of it for my old...er age. I worry more about where I should sell...$200 or should I hold out for 3? H, that is.

eezie,

... sold mine (many also) at about two bucks a few weeks ago for tax purposes also.

Congrats. That implies you have offsetting capital gains. Wish I could say the same.
