And you wonder why the economy is in the Publican Toilet:
WASHINGTON, Dec 09, 2002 (The Canadian Press via COMTEX) -- U.S. Senate
investigators say a one-day, $1-billion sham loan from financial giant J.P.
Morgan Chase was used to produce about $60 million in Canadian tax deductions
and $65 million in benefits to Enron's financial results.

The June 2001 transaction - nicknamed Slapshot - involved several affiliates of
Chase and Enron as well as off-the-books partnerships, the investigators say.

Citigroup and Chase knowingly helped Enron deceive the investing public, the
investigators said Monday after examining a series of multimillion-dollar

My point sir is that your party has no answers. Gray Davis was to be your next bubbha. Read the article and understand what the Democrats believe in. Give them money and they will grow government until there is nothing left.

The fraud that was perpetrated in the Clinton years will take decades to fix. You ran down the military and wiped out the private sector. Bush may or may not be competent enough to fix it. But it is your years of growth of government and incompetent bureaucracy that will end up in the final destruction of this economy. Should you think other than I remind you of your hero the Soviet Union.

Deficit spending. Has there ever been a dollar that you libs don't think should be turned over to you to redistribute ? You act as if deficits are not your way of life. The sad truth is that you decimate the military and spend on every bird brained idea you can think of. You have looted the private sector for trillions of dollars on a failed war on poverty. There are no results from your war on poverty except to plunder from the producers and hand it over to incompetent bureaucrats and ruthless trial lawyers.

The most interesting thing about Bloomberg is that he thought he could cut the fat out of NYC government. He found there wasn't too much to cut. Apparently sometimes governments can be run with a lot less fat than big business. Maybe instead o getting CEOs into government we should be getting civil servants into managing businesses.
