No....The only melting ice that would contribute to making the oceans rise would be ice over land. Melting of ice floating on water, ie the North Polar Icecap, would not cause the oceans to rise since it is about the same density (in fact slightly less dense) as liquid water. Try this experiment...fill a glass with ice cubes and then add water to fill it the rim.....when the ice melts, the water level will be exactly the same, it will not overflow from the glass. I have read that if all the ice over land masses were to melt, the oceans would rise by no more than about 18 meters, not nearly enough to cover Mt. Ararat.
