I dont know, I watched Bill O'reilly last night and he apparently checked out not only the comment but Lott's background. Bill doesnt feel Lott is a "Racist". He is a Mississippi Senator, as such he supports things like restoring US citizenship to Jefferson Davis (Confederate President for those who dont know) and probably supports the "Dixie" flag remaining. Personally, I think we have far more serious things to concern ourselves with today then Lott making some kind of ridiculous statement during an old farts final B-day in the Senate. jdn

No you're wrong...Byrd's comments were meant to be racists!

Trent Lott meant we wouldn't have all the government give away of the tax payers dollars..

Fair is fair...and don't take them out of context!!!!
