and then sometimes it gets worse: dad can't drive choir performance tonight for daughter #1 father in law having emergency open heart surgery tomorrow morning 200+ miles away..lostwife must go on a last minute flight school bus stop a mile from house for nice morning walk 6:50am) 30 lb backpacks must be carried to bus (even the 8 yr old) son #1 has saxophone to lug as well basketball practices loom dad's truck, which could possibly be driven since it has a bench seat in front and I could MAYBE sit in the middle and drive with my left foot, is 10 miles from home due to last weekend's injury and lack of drivers to return it home. Suburban has dead battery and is down 2 steps that are virtually impossible to navigate at this point BUT challenges like these are what families are all about and I will embrace this challenge
