Only the shadow knows. They should have , and i mean this, a tiny code letter to trades to say if a buy is actually a short cover. I think such a rule would be revolutionary and cut down on the EASE of running a dirty market.
But that will be the day, LOl!.
But there be NO reason why this knowledge should not be shared.
It would be a huge change for giving individual traders more of a level floor, and for that reaon, you know it isn't going to happen.Max
