re: TRINQ -- Warpfactor did a spreadsheet study on TRIN and TRINQ. He found that trading according to the TRIN was a money maker, but trading according to the TRINQ was a loser, both long and short. This was a mechanical test, so some caution is necessary, but I think the findings are strong enough to bear mentioning. Here's a link to the full study, (in Excel format):
