That is obviously open for debate. Most conservatives are writing off Powell as too liberal. Him I like, Cheney and Rumsfeld scare me (as does Ashcroft) and as for Rice, I'm still undecided.

You scare too easily. Actually, it is reasonable for a liberal to not prefer conservatives, I suppose.

The point is, you have a broad range of ideaologies, and clearly, Bush values the counsel from each of them.

Have you read Woodward's book? I think it presents a fairly clear view of what goes on in this administration, and certainly would have to be considered as the beginning of the history of the Bush 43 administration.

While I don't often agree with your ideology, I do think you're not one of these extremist liberals who can't listen to reason. Perhaps you ought to have a look at that book...
