Global warming is a fact or it is not Depends on which decade you live in... I recall back in the '70s the big "issue tu dour" was the threat of a new Ice Age approaching... I'm more of the belief that the earth's climate is not quite as stable as many scientists would have us believe. But then of course, I'm not much of a believer in linear evolution either, but tend more to Catastrophism as the likely manner in which higher forms of life "evolved" from the lower forms. And such catastrophes have been the cause of any number of major climatic disasters over the course of Earth's history. Hawk
