Never heard of a 17 on a two. I did know of an 18month on a 4 that was given to a guy to continue teaching crypto Ft Monmouth. He was a Jarhead and taught as a Sgt and went straight to the same teaching position on the Army Ft.

Subtract a minimum for his basic of two months and whatever the army calls it's MOS training another month minimum, that would leave four months. Not enough time for your mail to catch up to you.
