Rudi, cows have 4 stomachs, each takes a different thing from their food. The first stomach also regurgitates food to be chewed again, much as mine does when I eat a pizza when hungry. Chewing the cud. Sheep, goats and llamas also have several stomachs. Rabbits have to eat their own poop so as not to die from a lack of vitamin K.
